Due to COVID-19 and our HQ county stay-at-home order, Asend will suspend operations until we all get through these tough times. Stay safe. -Asend Team

We take Earth’s simple ingredients to bring you hydration and recovery drink mixes for everything from your everyday activities to your high performance pursuits. Asend offers multiple flavors of electrolyte jam-packed hydration mixes and a protein-filled, satisfying recovery mix.

What you see on the label is what you get — ingredients that are naturally occurring, not engineered in a lab.

Just add water for adventure on the go.

why we exist?

Asend is simple and effective. At Asend, we use mother nature's naturally grown whole fruits for flavoring, not anything synthesized in a lab. You can expect the best combinations of fruits, superfoods, sugars and the more expensive citrate version of electrolytes that are easy to absorb.
All this means is that there are no extra chemicals or additives for your body to process.
We're here to support everyone from A to Z, not just the uber athlete, but the regular person who loves to recreate.
Better performance + feeling your best = awesome adventures for everyone. Now that's, simply, the good stuff.

"I wasn't satisfied with what was being offered as sports drink mixes. I started Asend with Mark to create a drink mix that I knew I could both recommend to anyone and confidently use myself as a professional athlete." -JD

Jamey is the real deal — good human, authentic guy, professional athlete. He holds over 30 UCI Cyclocross victories, plus he's won the New England Cyclocross series (2008), Cross Vegas (2009) and the National Championship for Single Speed at Fat Bike Nationals. He graduated with an engineering degree from University of Vermont and now calls Park City, Utah, home. While his career has revolved around cycling, he has a love for everything the mountains offer. He is often spotted ticking off training miles by riding to Alta ski resort, taking ski runs, then riding home. He's married to Carly and they welcomed their first child — Layla Ann Driscoll — in November 2017.

"Fueling for an all-day mountain adventure often takes a back seat to picking out your gear and route planning. Asend Nutrition takes the guess work out of the nutrition equation by using simple, natural, effective ingredients that allow your body to reach its best so you can simply have more fun out there." –MF

Skiing at an early age sparked Mark's passion for the outdoors and first exposed him to the Rocky Mountains.  To hone his outdoors skills, Mark completed an Outward Bound trip in Colorado and then packed his bags for Gunnison, Colorado and obtained his degree in Outdoor Recreation and Business from Western State University of Colorado.  While Mark completed his degree, he took up climbing and mountaineering and even spent a few summers with the National Outdoor Leadership School in Wyoming.  After too many nights to count sleeping in a tent, Mark headed back to his hometown of Philadelphia to complete his MBA.  Philadelphia is where Mark found cycling and in particular a love for cyclocross.  Now he can be seen on the Utah podium at cyclocross races and was top 5 in his Master's cyclocross race at U.S. Nationals. Mark is married to Ali and they have two daughters, Evelyn and Madeleine.

"It's really fun to support my husband in this business venture and also super exciting to watch a brand come to life and activate it through all of my marketing knowledge." -CD

After climbing the ranks in professional water skiing, Carly traded in her water skis for snow skis. She spent a winter ski bumming in Taos before relocating to Utah. She works as a Digital Marketing Director and is the creative mind behind the marketing efforts at Asend. When it is not 9-5, she is found mountain biking, snow skiing, chasing her golden retriever, Parker, teaching girls to rip on bikes at Little Bellas, and raising a little adventurous daughter, Layla.

"My role at Asend allows me to draw on my background in exercise science, my role as a physician and my experience as an athlete. After years of experimenting with nutrition products, I truly believe simple is best. What you see is what you get with Asend — simple, wholesome ingredients that fuel ideal performance." –AF
